Dutchman’s Breeches are one of the native wildflowers that bloom in the very early spring.  They are an unexpected treat for those who hike on a river bottom trail. They have blooms that resemble strings of inverted pantaloons hung out to dry in the spring breeze. These were found along a mossy path during a camera hike.
